How to Choose a Carpet Cleaning and Upholstery Cleaning Company

There are several things to watch out for when choosing a carpet cleaning company, This advice is good for many areas including: Phoenix, Mesa, Glendale, Tempe, Chandler, Scottsdale and Tucson carpet cleaners.

1. Find out what carpet cleaning products they use. Are these products going to hurt your children or pets? Take a minute to ask what their carpet cleaning process involves. You may just learn that they charge more to move furniture or that it may take 8 hours for your carpet to dry. Asking questions is the only way to make an informed decision.

2. How Long has the carpet cleaning company been in business? If it's under a year that's Ok but be sure to get letters of recommendation. I would encourage you to check with the Better Business Bureau as Well. If the company is not well established you run the risk of the guarantee not being there when you need it. Many new companies do not make it past their first year.

3. Many carpet cleaning companies offer a guarantee but be sure and get it in writing and find out the details.

4. Going with the cheapest person is not always the best deal. You get what you pay for. Many of the smaller companies offer cheaper rates but with that comes lack of experience and or training. When you get a really low ball bid be sure to ask if the carpet cleaning company is licenced and insured.

5. Look at the fine print. Do not fall for the bait and switch tactic. Some ads may say 5 rooms for only $99, but if you look at the fine print it states 180SQ Ft max per room. Most rooms are well over 180 SQ Ft.
